提供有条件录取:Applicants who are otherwise academically admissible but submit TOEFL scores between 450 and 530 (paper), 133 and 197 (computer), or 45 and 71 (iBT) may be granted conditional admission to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. To change their admission status from conditional to regular (a prerequisite for beginning study in a degree program), students must attain a minimum TOEFL score of 530 (paper), 197 (computer), or 71 (iBT). As space permits, conditionally admitted students may enroll in the IIEP for up to one year.
Students without TOEFL scores and those with scores below 450 (paper), 133 (computer), or 45 and 71 (iBT) may also enroll in the IIEP; however, IIEP enrollment without conditional admission to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences does not imply or guarantee admission to an academic program at The University of Iowa. Students should be aware that admission to the IIEP does not constitute admission to The University of Iowa. Admission to the University requires separate application and qualifications based on high school and university transcripts, personal recommendations, and English proficiency.
SAT or ACT scores are not required of international applicants, but they are required of first-year applicants who wish to be considered for scholarships.
